Event Insurance
By initialing here, the applicant/authorized agent understands that he/she is required to furnish insurance and all necessary applicable endorsements. Event insurance must be general liability coverage for not less than one million dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence, two million dollars ($2,000,000) aggregate naming the Upper Kirby District Foundation, Upper Kirby Redevelopment Authority and the City of Houston as additional insureds and including a waiver of subrogation or waiver of right of recovery for all event dates including set-up and operation. Please include this information in all insurance documentation. If the event features the sale or distribution of alcoholic beverages these insurance policy limits shall be two million dollars ($2,000,000) per occurrence, four million dollars ($4,000,000) aggregate with all other provisions contained hereinto remain applicable. Auto liability insurance is required for load-in and out.
Indemnification
By initialing here, the applicant/authorized agent and any other persons on whose behalf the application is made must covenant and agree in writing that they will, jointly and severally, indemnify and hold Upper Kirby District Foundation, Upper Kirby Redevelopment Authority and the City of Houston against liability for any and all claims, judgments and associated legal expenses and costs and for claims and litigation arising out of the special event including, but not limited to, those for damage to property or injury to or death of persons.
Nonrefundable Application Fee
By initialing here, the applicant/authorized agent and any other persons on whose behalf the application is made understands a nonrefundable $100 application fee applies when submitting an event reservation inquiry. The applicant/authorized agent agrees to pay the invoiced fee promptly and in full.
