Young Audiences of Houston offers family friendly, live art experiences perfect for a wide variety of ages. These interactive workshops and performances last between 60 and 90 minutes and involve YAH artists and ensembles, crossing genres of dance, visual arts, theater, music, and literary arts.

May 17: Exploring Indian Classical Dance with Silambam Houston

This workshop will allow students to explore the vocabulary of movements, gestures, and facial expressions that form the basis of Indian classical dance and use this vocabulary to create their own piece of artistic expression.
