Visitors must comply with directions from Park personnel or they will be asked to leave the Park.
Parents are responsible for their children’s safety in the Park.
Owners are solely liable for damage or injury inflicted by their dog(s). This means owners are legally and financially responsible for their dog’s behavior. The City of Houston has no liability or responsibility for injuries in the Dog Park.
Dogs must be leashed before entering and upon leaving the Park, and must be leashed in the transition corridor. Owners must have a visible leash for each dog. Dogs may be off leash in both Dog Parks.
Each individual may bring up to two licensed and vaccinated dogs into the Park. No dogs under 4 months of age, or without their second set of shots irrespective of age, are allowed in the Dog Park.
Pick up after your dog and deposit waste in trash receptacles.
Food is not allowed in the Dog Park.
Owners must be in verbal and sight control of their dogs at all times and prevent aggressive behavior, biting, fighting, and aggressive barking. You may not leave your dog unattended in the Dog Park.
Dogs with a known history of dangerous behavior are prohibited.
If your dog should act in an aggressive manner, you must immediately leash your dog(s) and leave the Dog Park.
Children may not enter the Dog Park unless they have a dog with them.
Children inside the Dog Park may not approach, pet, or pick up dogs other than their own. Children may not run within the Dog Park.
